Relationship IQ is designed for academic institutions, churches, and other organizations β any group needing to better help young adults navigate relationships. Relationship IQ is not therapy β it is a psychoeducational curriculum combining social science research and theology that has changed the lives of tens of thousands of young adults. .

The Leader's Guide
Lays the foundation for why this material is critical, how to interact with young adults, how to lead the material, and how to start a Relationship IQ program and run events.
The Eight Modules
48 weeks of small group curriculum on eight relationship topics PLUS eight single-session presentations (each with 85 minutes of teaching material). The lessons are easy to lead, very interactive, and highly relevant and applicable to young adults.

Module 1
Intentionally Friends
Help young adults stuck in shallow, non-supportive friendships build deep and lasting friendships. Discover how to bring out the best in friends and become the friend they want to be.
Module 2
Say What? Communication & Conflict
Help young adults sharpen their communication and conflict skills by learning how to say what they mean, tell the truth, and listen well.
Module 3
How to Date the Best
Learn how to help young adults start, end, and be in healthy romantic relationships. Through these lessons they will feel confident and have more peace while they date.
Module 4
Does God Want a Relationship with Me?
Help young adults discover that God designed them for relationship with Him, wants to know them, and gives them identity, value, and purpose.
Module 5
What About Sex?
Help young adults explore God's good gift of sexuality, how our brains respond to sexual activity, cohabitation, relational impacts of sex, managing sex drives, pornography, sexual addiction, and God's healing and redemption.
Module 6
Boundaries and Freedom
Help young adults identify their boundaries, know how to enforce them, avoid boundary violations, and live a healthier life.
Module 7
Adulting in Your Family
Young adults will learn how to transition well from being a child to an adult in their families. Explore how memories and birth order shape family dynamics, and grow to take greater responsibility for family relationships.
Module 8
Technology and Relationships
Equip young adults for healthy relationships in the world of technology. Learn how technology is affecting young adult relationships in dating, identity, goals, mental development, and spirituality differently than past generations.

THE ORIGIN STORY
It started with one student email.
Started as a student outreach at Pepperdine University in the fall of 2005, Relationship IQ (rIQ) is a ministry of the Boone Center for the Family combining theology and social science research to reveal God's great love for us and provide the resources necessary to live in healthy relationships with Him and each other.
